Okay, now that I know there isn't wat going 90ft or something, thats great.  I had a homemade water gun a while back that would lob a small tank of water in a blast a good 40 feet.

If some of you guys are crossover members you may know of the syringe gun by Carbon in Nerf.  If ya don't I'll explain.  You take a perfectly sealed plunger and tube, or pump and you add a trigger and catch.  You then would use a spring to keep pressure and fill the tube with water.  This would be a good holdout and it works in a shotgun effect.  I don't know typical soaker rifle range, but this puts a perfect hit on anyone within 10-15 feet.  It also has applications as a trap or defensive implacement.

If I could get a list of CPS soakers and pics of their internals I would be most grateful.  I have some PVC pressure tanks that need use.

Thanks for the comments.  I know that water wars last longer but because I am fairly new, how do you count hits?  And I know that Nerf Wars aren't just held in parks and neither are soak wars.  I personally love our 1 mile by .75 mile park that we have.  Take it up in PMs if you want to continue.

Thats a good Nerf site for crossovers.  I work there.  Good site, we dont hate noobs.  Register and I'll aprove you.  I am trying to take Nerf into this mainly because I think that soak mods aren't as good as they can be.

Planning a Soaker War-

To have a good war, you need to provide and pamper.  Make your guests feel at home.  Now to the specifics, mainly what to do and where.  Make sure that your site is approved, easy to find, and has whatever you would need close.  Then you need to make sure what you do is good and fine.

Your location should be somewhere that would be fun to play in, no matter the group size.  To pick your location drive around for a bit, look at parks.  Then find a park that fits your needs as a location and your guests.  Make sure there is a store or something with bathrooms nearby.  Make sure that there is water there.  If not, I recommend bringing coolers full of water.  Then make sure that you have permission to use the park or whatever area you are going to play in.  Nothing ruins a summer day like getting fined.  Make sure you accommodate whoever else comes by giving them room, such as taking an area out of the play area because a mom and her daughter set up picnic there.

Being a good person is as good as anything else in a SS War.  Be kind and not overly angry or feisty.  Make your guests feel like they are welcome.  Bring extra stuff like balloons and modding material and such when you host a war.  Don’t be stingy.  The more they like it the more likely they are to come back again and again.  Make sure you offer bunk to someone coming in from out of town.  Pick them up from the airport and such.  Just be a good person, pretend they are someone worth listening to and just shut up and LISTEN!

Overall make sure that you accommodate for anything that might happen while warring.  Use whatever safety you feel necessary.  Just be a good guy.  Thanks for reading this article.
